Diana Schlamadinger, PhD

Diana Schlamadinger, PhD, is the director, research program analytics for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), where she uses her expertise in scientific research and data analysis to assess the impact of BCRF-funded research. She earned her doctorate in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego. Diana was awarded the American Diabetes Association Mentor-Based Postdoctoral Fellowship to study cellular biology as a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University. After leaving academia, she rose to Associate Publisher at American Institute of Physics (AIP) Publishing, where she oversaw the launch and strategic development of multiple open-access journals across the biological and physical sciences. Diana joined BCRF in 2023 and manages a subset of annual research grants, including awards made to early and mid-career researchers through academic partnerships.
