Sadia H. Zapp is the Managing Director of Communications and Content at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), where she has served since 2015. Throughout her career, she has focused on driving meaningful change by raising awareness of public health challenges.
In 2022, seven years into her tenure at BCRF, Sadia was diagnosed with Stage 2 HR+ breast cancer at age 36, turning her professional commitment to research into a personal reality. Today, she remains deeply dedicated to advancing breast cancer prevention and treatment through BCRF’s marketing and communications strategies. She is also passionate about supporting other young women facing a breast cancer diagnosis by sharing educational content through @sadiahaque_dx2022 on social media, as well as public speaking engagements on breast cancer, women’s health, and healthcare communications.
