By BCRF | October 14, 2019

Raise funds for BCRF this Breast Cancer Awareness Month and beyond.

Fall is in full swing and with Breast Cancer Awareness Month underway, there are plenty of opportunities to support lifesaving research.

BCRF is fortunate to have individuals and groups from around the world who are finding fun and creative ways to raise money for breast cancer research. Motivated by family and friends touched by the disease, these efforts are a core part of BCRF’s mission each year and we are grateful for the time and energy that is spent making them a success.

Whether you are planning a fundraiser by yourself or with family or friends, take something you are already passionate about and turn it into a fundraiser! By choosing BCRF, you have the confidence of sharing with your supporters that every dollar raised improves outcomes and saves lives for this affected by breast cancer.

Not sure where to get started? Below are some ideas to help you kickstart your fall fundraiser:

Athletic Events: Fall is a great time to hit the pavement. Sign up for a local 5K, participate in an exercise class or cycle and swim to support research.

Embrace Milestones: Ask for donations for your birthday, wedding or anniversaries.

Host a Gathering: Invite friends and family to support the cause at a potluck, BBQ or game night.

Community Efforts: Bring your colleagues or fellow students together to wear pink on a specific day, host a lemonade stand bake sale, or have a friendly game of kickball.

Get Creative: The opportunities are endless, so find something that interests you!
