Support Research This May With BCRF’s Virtual Fitness Challenge

By BCRF | April 11, 2024

Make an impact by joining BCRF’s 31-Mile Walk/Run Challenge on Facebook

This May, BCRF is hosting a virtual 31-mile walk/run Facebook challenge to raise funds for lifesaving breast cancer research—and to honor everyone impacted by breast cancer.

Challenge participants will walk or run 31 miles during the month of May wherever they are and at their own pace. A supportive and inspiring private Facebook group dedicated to the challenge connects walkers and runners with others who are also passionate about research.

To fundraise for BCRF-supported research, participants are encouraged to start Facebook fundraisers and share them with friends and family to hit their goals. Participants are welcome to take the challenge solo or recruit loved ones, friends, or coworkers to participate alongside them.

What’s more: Participants who raise $100 or more will receive a pair of pink and white low-cut performance wool socks from BCRF partner TIEM.

Join us as we come together to help save lives and improve outcomes while getting active this spring. To get started, make sure you are logged into Facebook and then click here to register.

If you don’t have a Facebook account and would still like to participate, you are welcome to complete the 31 miles on your own and fundraise along the way. Track your miles on an activity app and set up a fundraising page here where you can announce your progress to your donors.
