Play for P.I.N.K. (PFP) recently donated $3 million to BCRF. Despite a global pandemic that cancelled more than a third of the organization’s annual events from coast to coast, PFP volunteers rose to the challenge.

Play for P.I.N.K. (PFP) is the single largest independent donor to BCRF. The organization empowers 30,000 volunteers from across the country to host hundreds of lifestyle and sporting events to advance breast cancer research.

For Laura Lassman, her foray into fundraising began with a simple goal. After her friend Sheila was diagnosed with breast cancer, she decided to pay tribute to her favorite sport by hosting a golf tournament in her honor with the proceeds benefiting breast cancer research.

Every year, Play for P.I.N.K. (PFP) empowers grassroots fundraisers to make an incredible impact on breast cancer research.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) celebrated women and their contributions to the thoroughbred industry while raising funds to support BCRF during Fabulous Fillies Day on Thursday, August 11 at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Stephanie Hamburger worked for BCRF for seven years before the cause hit close to home. While she had spoken to numerous survivors, family members and researchers throughout her tenure at the Foundation, her best friend’s breast cancer diagnosis gave her a tough reality check.
